"I thank reporters for foregoing their sleep on Friday in order to cover my
case. As it is now over, I hope everyone will leave me alone as I want to stay
at home with my girlfriend," she said.
The court commuted the jail term of six months to a suspended sentence citing
her cooperation and clean record.
It also ordered her to report to a probation officer every three months for a
year.
The police were tipped off about Kesarin's saucy antics after fans posted
messages on Internet chat rooms commenting on the fact that she was a porn star
before she shot to fame as a model and television actress.
Her movie became one of the best-selling sex films from underground vendors
after police began investigating her.
The actress managed to put off her date with police for months citing legal
technicalities and various personal reasons.
Her case drifted out of the spotlight until questions were raised about her
after a recent police campaign to crack down on magazines featuring illegal
male nude photographs.
With renewed interest in the case, she decided to confront her accusers rather
than dodge her alleged offences.
Emerging from the court after the hearing, she said she wanted to live in peace
and out of the media spotlight.
