Police busted a child pornography and cyber sex ring with the arrest of three
alleged members in Angeles City, Pampanga province, Director General Edgar
Aglipay announced Thursday.
In a press briefing at Camp Crame, Aglipay presented Belgian Ronald F.L. Thuys,
American Dean Punke Arthurs, and Filipino Ali Dimanlao Bonjoc.
They have been charged with violating the anti-trafficking law before the
justice department, Aglipay said.
A certain Morley Arthur Everly and several John and Jane Does are still at
large, he added.
Fifteen girls in their teens were rescued during a raid on the suspects’
hideout last August 25.
The girls were made to pose naked and perform sexual acts for the web cameras,
police said.
Also present during the presentation was Senator Maria Ana Consuelo “Jamby”
Madrigal, who helped coordinate the raid “in aid of legislation.”
Madrigal said she was drafting a bill that would make possession of cyber sex
paraphernalia a non-bailable offense.
