Bangkok drugstores flooded with fake sexual enhancement drugs

Bangkok - Many pharmacies in Bangkok were selling faked sexual enhancement
drugs, the official Thai News Agency (TNA) on Friday quoted public health
official as saying.
Recent raids on drugstores in the capital's downtown areas had found out 11
drugstores selling fake products and other medicines without necessary license,
the deputy secretary-general of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Raviwan
Preedreesanith was quoted as saying.
She said the FDA would carry on further checks to discipline the market, while
stressing that legal action had been taken against those stores selling fake
drugs.
Owners of such stores were now facing with jail sentences of upto 20 years and
would have their licenses revoked.
The FDA also warned consumers that those fake drugs or unregistered medicines
would threaten users' health and even life.
