They had thousands of obscene MMS clips recorded on their computers, which sold
for anything between Rs 200-500.
While some of the clippings have already been in the news (like the alleged
Mallika Sherawat clipping), a few other clippings are more disturbing and
appear to have been shot without the victim's knowledge.
Dealers claim they had not generated any of the clips and had only copied them
from other customers.
"We just copied from one card onto another. The big fish - those who set up
this racket - have not been caught," said Ajay Sharma, Accused.
While some clips are clearly from pornographic films, the police are
investigating others that appear to have been shot using a hidden camera.
"In some cases, something that is going on in a car is being recorded or in the
bathroom or the changing of clothes. It appears these were recorded in a secret
manner," said Vishal Bansal, SP, Jaipur.
The police are also investigating whether some of these MMS clips were shot
locally in Jaipur using youngsters for the purpose.
