The chargesheet also included Imrana's medical report and her statement recorded
before the magistrate as also those of her brothers, sister-in-law and
brother-in-law, police said.
Ali Mohammad, the 28-year-old's father-in-law whom she has accused of raping
her, was denied bail by the judicial magistrate on June 27 and is in Judicial
custody till July 14.
Meanwhile, the Shariat court, which has asked by the Islamic seminary
Darul-Uloom of Deoband to decide the future relationship of the victim with her
in-laws, is yet to start proceedings in the case as Imrana and her family
members are yet to turn up before it.
The case had hit the headlines when a local community panchayat passed a
verdict asking the victim to treat her husband as her son and banning her from
living with him following the alleged rape.
