PCB rejects charges of sexual assault on Pakistani player

Islamabad - Pakistan Cricket Board, after completion of investigation into
charges of sexual assault on a Pakistani cricketer in Australia, has denounced
the report of Australian newspaper (Sydney Heraldson) terming it baseless
report and has also decided not to take action against any Pakistani player
unless solid proof is attained in this regard.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board spokesman Abbas Zaidi, cricket board
directed the High Commission of Pakistan in Australia and Team Management for
investigation of the incident and after the completion of inquiry, no Pakistani
players is found involved in the incident.
Spokemanaman further said that some elements are exaggerating the issue to
malign Pakistani team, which is worth condemnable.
A Report of Australian newspaper Sydney Heraldson charged Pakistani player for
sexual assault on women on the occasion of Boxing Day test in Melbourne
Australia. An Inquiry into this issue was held on the directives of chairman
PCB Sheher Yar Khan.
