MMS porn concerns MPs

New Delhi - A Lok Sabha MP Thursday asked the Human Resource Development (HRD)
ministry to set up a committee to examine the peddling of pornography through
MMS.
"The ministry should set up a committee and look into matters related to this
incident," Subodh Mohite of the Shiv Sena said, raising the issue during zero
hour.
Pointing to the proliferation via MMS of a video clip of two Delhi school
students engaged in a sexually explicit act, he said CDs of the clip were being
sold in various parts of India as also abroad.
"This is very unfortunate," Mohite said, adding that the girl involved in the
controversy is the daughter of a former army officer.
The students have been expelled from the school.
