Cops to arrest DPS 'porn-maker' kid

New Delhi - After the arrest of an IIT-Kharagpur student for peddling the
infamous DPS pornographic MMS clip online, Delhi Police are now gunning for the
standard XI student who shot the clip.
Senior Police officials said they were now focussing on unravelling the entire
chain.
"Action will be taken against all those who created and then transmitted the
clip," said an official.
The incident had happened a little over a month-and-a-half ago, when two
standard XI students of Delhi Public School RK Puram, a top south Delhi school,
had filmed themselves on the boy's mobile phone during a sex act "just for
kicks."
But the boy started circulating the clip, reportedly soon after breaking up
with the girl. Three weeks ago it hit national headlines after the clip started
doing rounds all over the country.
According to the boy's peers, he began sending out the clip via MMS and e-mail
to his batchmates for Rs 100 each.
Surprisingly, till now, there had been no initiative by the law, which
prohibits production and transmission of pornographic material in any form, to
take the boy into custody.
"When we began the investigations we realised that the clip was being sold on a
Website as well as in Palika Bazaar (the porn den of the capital). Our first
reaction was to arrest Ravi Raj and raid Palika Bazaar," the official said.
"Since that part of the investigation is over, we are going to start from the
boy and then follow the entire chain," he added.
Belonging to a wealthy family, the boy lives in a posh south Delhi colony. A
cricketer, he has even represented Delhi under-17 at the national level.
The boy, who along with the girl was expelled after the MMS reached the
principal of the school, has taken admission in another school.
Tracing the boy will be child's play for the police. What would be interesting
is to see how far the Delhi police go to unearth the serpentine chain of the
clip transmitters.
