Prostitution racket busted; 5 call girls, 4 pimps arrested

New Delhi - A prostitution racket being run in the garb of a massage parlour
was unearthed in a South Delhi area with the arrest of five alleged call girls
and four men accused of being their pimps in three different raids, police said
today.
Police yesterday received information that girls were being supplied for
prostitution through a massage parlour advertisement in leading newspapers,
following which a trap was laid to nab the accused.
One of the alleged pimps was contacted on phone, who reportedly agreed to
provide girls for Rs 2000 for an hour, after which a decoy customer was sent to
a guest house at Malviya Nagar in South Delhi.
As the deal was being struck, a waiting police party raided the premises,
arresting two alleged call girls and their pimp Rahul alias Anil (22).
In a separate operation in the same area, police raided a massage parlour,
arresting the owner of the premises along with two associates and two alleged
prostitutes.
Acting on another piece of information, police raided a guest house in Malviya
Nagar, arresting an alleged call girl and a man accused of being her pimp,
police said.
