Two prostitution rackets busted in Delhi

The Delhi Police Crime Branch arrested nine calls girls and four pimps from two
different localities on Saturday night.
Six call girls and three pimps were arrested from Lal Guest House, Saket, after
a tip-off that its owner was running a prostitution racket. A decoy customer
booked a room in the guesthouse and struck a deal with its owner, Chiranji Lal.
Around 10 p.m. on Saturday night, Lal along with one Chander Choudhary and
Madhu Sharma produced six girls — all aged between 19 to 22 — and demanded Rs
2000 for each of them from the decoy. The police was alerted and Lal nabbed.
In another case, the police arrested a pimp and three girls at 6:30 p.m. from
Punjabi Bagh.
Here too, a decoy customer struck a deal with the pimp, Nischal Kumar, who
produced three girls — aged between 20 to 21 — and demanded Rs 2000 for each of
them. Nischal Kumar had been earlier arrested in 1998 for a similar offence.
