The accused has denied the allegations against him during a previous session. He
said he is involved in a dispute with his wife and she has fabricated the case
against him. He added he had tried in vain several times to ask his wife to
bring up their daughter in a proper Islamic manner. He added, that when he took
custody of the daughter, she fabricated the case against him as a revenge
tactic.
A housemaid, another defendant in the case, has also denied the accusations
before the court. The maid is charged with having sex with her sponsor, the
accused man, and helping him manufacture liquor in his home.
The Criminal Evidences Department seemingly corroborates the maid's testimony
as their reports have shown no traces of alcohol or drugs in the two suspects'
urine samples.
The man is also charged with having sex with his daughter's girlfriend who
allegedly took shelter in his home after running away from her family home and
stayed with her friend for few days.
After the friend was allegedly forced to have sex with the man, she returned to
her home, complained to her parents and the man was subsequently arrested. The
man, who is highly qualified and holds a university degree in engineering, is
also said to have taken nude pictures of his daughter, her friend and three
Indonesian maids.
