Goldblatt, who has spent the last two weeks in detention, was charged Monday
with sexual assault while using his authority over a 15-year-old girl about a
year ago.
According to the indictment, the girl was a student of Goldblatt's at an acting
course offered by the Status agency in Tel Aviv between August and October
2004.
Goldblatt allegedly dismissed the complainant's suggestions to have private
acting lessons at her parents' home, saying they may misinterpret intimate
scenes he will work on with her. The actor then told the girl the lessons would
be held in his house in Moshav Menachemia.
The offences described in the charge sheet resemble the previous charges
Goldblatt faces. The actor allegedly encouraged the girl to wear provocative
clothes and chided her for not following his instructions. These included a
seduction scene where Goldblatt was a widower and the girl his daughter who
tries to become his lover.
The prosecution told the court Goldblatt also pressured the complainant to kiss
him, telling her she would have to get used to kissing older men because
"people love to see a lot of sex in telenovellas."
