Man arrested for pulling schoolgirls' pants down and taking pictures
December 14, 2004
Fukuoka - A jobless man who pulled down the pants of two girls in an elementary
school playground here and took photos of the lower parts of their bodies after
offering to pay them 1,000 yen, has been arrested, police said Tuesday.
Hideyuki Koga, 20, a resident of Amagi, is accused of indecent assault. He
admitted to the allegations during questioning, according to investigators.
Koga approached two 9-year-old girls who were playing on swings at an
elementary school in Amagi on the afternoon of Nov. 7, local police said.
He offered to pay 1,000 yen each to them if they took off their trousers. "I'll
give you 1,000 yen, so take off your pants," he was quoted as telling them.
Koga then forcibly took the girls to a corner of the playground and pulled down
their pants. He then used a mobile phone to take four photos of the lower part
of their bodies before fleeing in his car, investigators said.
One of the victims remembered part of the license plate number of Koga's
vehicle, helping police to track him down.
