Naha - An American civilian employee of the U.S. military here has been
arrested for intruding into a woman's home and sexually assaulting her, police
said.
Okinawa Prefectural Police officials arrested Dag Thompson, 34, on Friday.
Thompson, who reportedly works for a business dealing with a variety of
services on U.S. bases in Japan, had denied the allegations.
Officers said Thompson intruded into the house of a woman in her 20s in Chatan,

lodged a protest during a call with Michael Michalak, deputy chief of mission
