Hefei opens trial in China's top web porn case

The Hefei Intermediate People's Court opened trial on May 11 for the "Jiujiu
Porn Forum" case, the "No. 1 web porn case in China".
By using server located outside the Chinese territory, the criminal suspect
opened the porn forum that has 300,000 registered members and a total page view
of 400 million.
A total of 11 criminal suspects were prosecuted, but the principal suspect Wang
Yong was not with them because he committed crime abroad and would be settled
in separate action.
According to the public security organ, criminal responsibilities of the
accused should be investigated for their act constituted crime of making profit
by disseminating pornographic materials.
