his mobile as the phone in question was usually kept by his manager.
Soccer player Necati Ates also asked for a special hearing to give testimony on
grounds that he would be away at training camp during the trial, adding it
could be damaging to his family life if he gave his testimony during the
session.
The indictment claims suspects Yildiz, Bülent Tetik, Dinçsoy and Aysel Erentok
were part of a high-end prostitution ring, soliciting on behalf of 23
prostitutes including singer Fulden Uras and TV show Big Brother's Hülya
Yamanoglu.
The prosecution is seeking jail sentences for the four ranging from two to 64
years in prison.
